New Releases on Jazz from Gallery 41...

Being released this month "Homes" on the Jazz Village distributed by harmonia mundi, from guitarist Gilad Hekselman.  An incredible forward thinking set that includes Joe Martin playing bass, with Marcus Gilmore sharing the drum duties with Jeff Ballard.



Destiny Records presents the debut album from drummer/composer Kenneth Salters Haven "Enter To Exit", featuring Myron Walden, Tivon Pennicott, Matt Holman, Aki Ishiguro, Brad Whiteley, Spencer Murphy & special guests Shai Maestro & Bridget Kibbey.



ACT - Featuring Ben Wendel (tenor saxophone, melocica, bassoon), Harish Raghavan (bass), Nate Wood d(drums) are releasing their second recording, ACT II.



Expansions: The Dave Liebman Group "The Puzzle" on Whaling City Sound.  Liebman is playing soprano saxophone and wooden recorder in a quintet setting that includes Matt Vashlishan on reeds and flutes, Tony Marino bass, Bobby Avey keyboards, and Alex Ritz on drums.



Also new on Whaling City Sound "Live In Studio" from Gerry Gibbs Thrasher Dream Trio.  Gerry Gibbs the drummer with Ron Carter on bass and Kenn Barron on drums.  With two very special guests: trumpeter Roy Hargrove and vocalist Cassandra Wilson.




Yoron Israel and High Standards "This Moment" on Ronja features the drummer with Lance Bryant on saxophones, Laszlo Gardony piano, and bassist Henry Lugo.  A live performance captured in June of 2013 at The Berklee Performance Center in Boston, MA.
