Dr. Lonnie Smith New Release "THE HEALER"

The new release from organist Dr. Lonnie Smith is called "THE HEALER" and it is on his own new label Pilgrimage Records.  As one would certainly expect, it is an excellent date with Jonathan Kreisberg on guitar, and playing the drums is Jamire Williams.  Half of the six tracks on the cd were recorded at the Lamantin Jazz Festival in Hungary in June 2011, the other half were recorded January 2012 at The Jazz Standard in NYC.
